Board Meeting Staff Recognition
The LVJUSD Board of Education recognized the Transitional Kindergarten team at Rancho Las Positas Elementary School for their outstanding work supporting early learners.
Principal Dayna Taylor honored April Avila Forde, Monica Craighead, and Daun Stevens for their collaborative approach to creating purposeful, play-based learning experiences. Through rich classroom environments, hands-on literacy, and outdoor exploration, the team fosters curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in safe and nurturing spaces.
